Dual training and board-elligibility or certification in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine are strongly preferred. This physician will devote the majority of his or her time to the Pediatric Lung Transplantation Program, with additional opportunities available in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Respiratory ECMO, Pediatric Exercise Physiology and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, medical education, and research, depending on interest and qualifications. Current fellows and recent fellowship graduates are invited to apply. Strong and dedicated mentorship is available for the interested candidate. The Program is unique in Florida and the Southeast, and one of only eight dedicated pediatric lung transplantation programs in the US. It is part of the University’s robust Congenital Heart Center, which also boasts the full breadth of congenital heart surgery, including a strong pediatric heart failure and transplantation service.
